Arie Forma is an American editor, director, screenwriter, and producer currently residing in
South Florida. Influenced by the narrative brilliance of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Forma’s cinematic approach blends raw emotion with gripping tension, exploring themes of familial bonds, romantic entanglements, the nuances of faith, and inner battles with one’s self. In May 2024, he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film.
Through Rose Colored Lenses, garnered high acclaim, earning the Best
Cinematography award at the Wildsound FEEDBACK Film Festival, along with multiple
festival acceptances across Central Florida
His second film, The Shepherd, has received numerous awards, including the Jury Award and
Audience Award for Best University Short at the Vero Beach Film Festival and Best Original
Score at the Indie Short Fest in Los Angeles. It has also earned nominations for Best Florida
Film at the 20th Annual Sunscreen Film Festival and Best Drama Short at the Central
Florida Film Festival. Beyond filmmaking, Forma is a skilled self-taught musician in guitar, piano, and drums.
Outside of work, he can often be found at local drum circles, watching the sunrise at the beach,
and spending time with his family.
